01

Light the candle and let it form a full melt pool

The first burn sets the foundation for every burn that follows, as wax has memory. Allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the vessel (typically 2-3 hours, depending on the candle size). This helps prevent candle tunneling and ensures an even, long lasting burn throughout the life of your candle.

02

Care for your candle while it burns

For the most beautiful, even burn, place your candle on a table surface away from open air and wind. Keeping the melted wax free of wick trimmings and other debris helps ensure a clean, steady flame.

As with any open flame, enjoy your candle within sight and away from children and pets.

03

Trim your wick before each burn

Before relighting your candle, trim the wooden wick to approximately ¼ inch (6mm). After each burn, the wooden wick forms a charred tip. Gently remove/trim the burnt wood part with your fingertips before relighting.

This promotes a steady, even flame, minimizes soot, and helps your candle perform beautifully throughout its life.

04

Embrace the beauty of natural soy wax

As your candle cools, the wax may naturally soften from bright white to a warm cream tone. You may also notice subtle sinkholes, frosting, or gentle surface variations after burning. These are natural characteristics of pure soy wax and do not affect the candle’s performance, fragrance or burn quality.

Each candle develops its own unique character over time— a beautiful reflection of the natural materials used to create it.

05

Designed to be reused

Once only a small amount of wax remains, it might be time to repurpose your candle’s vessel. After your final burn, allow the candle to cool completely, remove any remaining wax, and wash the vessel with warm water and soap.

A beautiful object with a new purpose in your home.
